Monday Nov 27, 2023
Join me in this eye-opening episode featuring Life and Mindset Coach, Marlene McNally, as we dive deep into breaking societal norms for Black women.

EP. 154 How To Know When You’re In A RUT!
Tuesday Nov 14, 2023
Tuesday Nov 14, 2023
In this episode, we explore ruts as essential components of our lives, representing those phases when life seems uninspired and monotonous. Ruts are a part of life, and finding ourselves in them is normal. However, they can impact our sense of purpose and vitality. The pandemic, for example, drastically altered our routines, possibly leading to prolonged ruts.
Inspired by Mary J. Blige's song "Good Morning, Gorgeous," we explore the emotional struggle described in the lyrics, feeling stuck, second-guessing, and battling inner demons. It's a journey of trying to protect one's peace in the face of relentless challenges.
Listen in as I share how we can identify these ruts and work our way out.
Join me in unpacking these societal patterns and reclaiming our power in relationships and life. And if you need support with this work, reach out for One-On-One Coaching. Book a Breakthrough Call here. Talk soon!

EP. 153 When They Moved On And You Haven’t
Monday Nov 06, 2023
Monday Nov 06, 2023
Past traumas or events - such as a devastating breakup, have created memories - conscious and subconscious, which have imprinted themselves in our brain, body, and nervous system. That’s why it can feel impossible to move on from because they all feel like an innate part of us. Whether in relationships or work, one of the things that we tend to do is fixate on the notion that "they've moved on." This can be paralyzing.
Listen in as I invite you to question society's deeply ingrained tendency to place blame, particularly when it comes to the end of relationships. Through real-life examples and coaching experiences, I illustrate how this fixation can hinder personal growth and earning potential. We uncover the root of the issue, our self-narration, and how we can break free by accepting our current state, offering ourselves grace, and reframing our perspective to avoid labeling others as villains or victims.

In this episode, I dive deep into the factors that often hold us back from making decisions and taking action, especially as women of color. We explore the three critical elements: belief, authority, and impact, that can paralyze us with indecision. I challenge the notion that you need to believe in something to take action and explain how it's okay not to believe right away. I emphasize the importance of reclaiming our authority and giving ourselves permission to believe in our dreams and goals, no matter how audacious they may seem. Finally, we confront the fear of impact and the burden of representation, encouraging you to choose yourself and love yourself no matter the outcome. By addressing these three elements, we can overcome indecision, embrace failure, and move closer to our goals, making more informed and impactful decisions.
Tune in to gain insights that can help you overcome indecision and take control of your life. And if you need support with this work, reach out for One-On-One Coaching. Book a Breakthrough Call here. Talk soon!

In this episode, I sit down with my dear friend Angela West to explore the intricacies of human relationships and the art of supporting our loved ones on their individual life journeys.
We discuss the significance of allowing our friends and family to navigate their processes at their own pace, emphasizing the importance of trust, boundaries, and the profound act of holding space. We also delve into the idea of respecting our loved ones' unique processes, rather than expecting them to change according to our desires. The episode concludes with a thought-provoking quote that challenges our perceptions and sheds light on the role of childhood experiences in shaping our expectations within relationships.
It's a journey of self-discovery, empathy, and learning to embrace and support our loved ones for who they are.If you've been contemplating your own journey of self-discovery and transformation, remember that there's no better time to start than now. Don't wait for the perfect moment; take the courageous step towards a better version of yourself. Join us on this incredible journey of self-growth and empowerment. EP. 149 Honoring Our Grieve Within Our GROWTH
Monday Oct 09, 2023
Monday Oct 09, 2023
In this episode, we're taking a deep look into a topic we often shy away from—grief.
You know, sometimes our need is simply to grieve, and that's perfectly okay. We'll explore the different facets of grief, from understanding involuntary grief, like unexpected losses, to embracing voluntary grief, where we choose to make changes but still feel the loss.
I'll also touch on the importance of recognizing and honoring our need to grieve, no matter the circumstances. Whether it's feeling lost in your own success story, outgrowing certain relationships, or questioning your decisions, your feelings are valid. Grief is a natural part of the human experience, and we should embrace it.
So, join me as we explore the depths of our emotions, recognize our needs, and keep building that breakthrough, brick by brick. Thanks for tuning in!

EP. 148 Breaking The Stigma Of Neediness
Monday Oct 02, 2023
Monday Oct 02, 2023
In this episode, I delve into the often stigmatized concept of neediness, particularly as it pertains to black women. Listen in as I challenge the negative perceptions around neediness, emphasizing that acknowledging and honoring our emotional needs is a strength, not a weakness.
It's high time we shift the narrative surrounding neediness and embrace it as a source of personal strength and unapologetically assert our needs, both within ourselves and in our interactions with others.
I invite you to reflect on the ways you might have been suppressing your own neediness and start embracing our humanity.
