Dr. Luna is an Associate Professor of Sociology, a Dean's Distinguished Professorial Scholar, a great friend of mine, an author, and a participant in Deeply Rooted. Her work focuses on social movements, reproductive issues, and human rights with a particular focus on women's activism and more specifically, women of color activism.
